The AI answered correctly. Was the meaning right?
Picture yourself six months from now.
A contract goes into dispute. The other side asks: "Why did your company read the clause that way?"
You open the AI logs. Every exchange is there. Every character looks correct.
But the word "responsible", where it appears in that clause — at which point in the review did it come to mean who bears the cost, rather than who does the work?
That isn't anywhere.
You can't explain your own incident, to yourself.
This isn't a story about the AI getting something wrong. It answered correctly. What drifted wasn't the answer. It was the meaning.
And logs as they are today keep the answer, but not the sense the word was being used in.
That's what an audit of meaning changes.
It lays a second record over the exchange. What kind of text that word appeared in at that moment, kept as a record from the moment it was passed. Your own documents stay as they are. It doesn't judge. It keeps that moment, as it was.
- Six months later, set the records from back then side by side, and the difference shows.
- Sens doesn't tell you "it changed here." Reading it is yours to do.
This isn't about being faster. It's about something becoming visible that wasn't before.
And here is the part that matters.
What "responsible" meant was yours to begin with. Your organisation, in your contracts, used it that way. And then it drifted, out of sight, and nobody noticed.
An audit of meaning keeps it yours. Not taking it back. Making sure what was yours from the start isn't taken.
The AI will go on answering correctly. But whether the meaning was right is yours alone to judge. Sens adds one layer to the audit you already have, so you can.
What we're not claiming
- What Sens keeps is the record of that moment — not detection of change. Setting them side by side and reading them is yours.
- Sens does not judge whether a meaning is correct. That judgement is yours.
- Sens does not hold your original text (only its observations of it). Your documents stay with you.
- What remains is how words were used, and what was passed — not surveillance of content.
- Sens only shows. You decide. The meaning stays yours.
- v0.5 is a trial that runs in the browser. Before anything goes, you can see what is about to go.
